IT'S POSSIBLE THE THE SOUND OF MUSIC CAN CHANGE...

WOW!
Like any instrument, the Monome takes practice but there's now a slew of software that's been written for it out there and some musicians have really been cleaning up their chops. Enough of the boring words, it's something best appreciated live—have a look at another video. Purchase the two fifty six (16x16 buttons) for $1,400, one twenty eight (16x8 buttons) for $800 and sixty four (8x8 buttons) for $400 at Monome.

Like Wow.....

Like Whoa!!

There are some truly scary people in the world. Only magnified when steroids come into play. WHHOOOOOAAA!

Japan LOVE Hellz Bellz...and we LOVE Japan! Shout outs to Nylon and Woofin for the consistent plugs and features on a monthly basis. Where else did we see some Hellz in July? Well, Cassie was spotted in Soho rockin' the Hellz Nation tee and I saw Natalie from Nina Sky wearing the Head Bitch in Charge tee at the Missbehave Poco Loco party a week or so ago. Keri Hilson was on MTV wearing the PYT top and Lil' Mama was looking good in Hellz all week on BET and MTV. Hellz F*cking Yeah...

THE PEOPLE VS FOX NEWS

Nas showed up at the MoveOn.org/ColorOfChange.org protest of Fox News today at the network’s NY headquarters and gave a short speech. I expect footage of his remarks to be online shortly. After refusing to accept the groups’ petition demanding an end to Fox’s “racist smears against the Obamas and other Black Americans,” the network offered the following statement through a spokesperson.

“Fox News believes in all protesters exercising their right to free speech, including Nas, who has an album to promote.”

Watch out! CCS is gettin' their shralp on...

Nas Attacks Fox News

In true Nas fashion, his new video for Sly Fox off his newly untitled album launches a full on attack on Fox News.  The Video is directed by Rik Cordero, who also directed the clip for N****R Too, which debuted on the internet a month ago.  Leave it to Nas to deliver politically relevant and though provoking music that not only entertains, but also educates his listeners.

Flying Cabs

So it expected by 2010 that we will have made the first steps into the Jetson lifestyle with flying cabs... What you see here is the Avcen Limited Jetpod T-100 City Flying Taxi, a VQSTOL (Very Quiet Short Take-off and Landing) vehicle that the company says could be in the air by 2010. The idea is that these flying cars would volley people between city centers and outlying areas... WOW

Rashad is really strong.

He showed us with his "perfect push up" skills.

Philadelphia--where you can buy a cheese steak on every corner.

The first day Yoshi and I got our holiday samples, we packed up the minivan with our trunks of In4mation and Hellz Bellz samples and hit the road for a day trip to Philadelphia. After stopping by Deep Sleep and hanging out with Philip (sorry--no pictures--we were too busy chatting it up), we head over to Nocturnal Skateshop to hang out with Mark and the crew.

After leaving Nocturnal, we walked on over to Pedestrian on South Street for a hot minute where we got the recommendation from Drew to check out Steaks on South for some lunch. Yoshi gave the thumbs up approval on her Philly cheese steak and here's a look at my eggplant parm. Yum!!

After munching face, we hit a few more shops before leaving town. We said "heyyyyy" to Liz from OMOI (One of my personal favorites--look at all the cute Japanese toys and stationary! Ahhh!!!)

And finalllllly we stopped by UBIQ to get some laughs from Ron....
All and all--Philadelphia was a great time and we can't wait to go back. Thanks to everyone for letting us barge in with our trunks and cause some ruckus. See you soon!

In4mation x 8FIVE2 skateboard deck

In4mation and Hong Kong's Premiere skate shop, 8FIVE2, have come together again to bring you this skateboard deck only available at either 8FIVE2 and In4mation. Bringing the island flavor to a clean black deck, both brands keep up to par with their previous collaborative tees.

Deeper Shade of Soul...

Taking it back to Golden Days. This is a true gem!

Don't get it twisted, this song was borderline cheesy but the video validated the Urban Dance Squad. These dudes filmed their video in an abandoned motel pool. Sick! The MC is rockin' the fresh OG U of M tee, while the DJ is a case-study in early 90's rad-ness. Dude is killin' the sun-seeker, lifeguard hat with the Charlie Brown tee. If that wasn't enough, dude breaks into the Running Man and shows off his OG Black and White Flight 89's. In an era where skateboarding had only been seen in Tom Petty and INXS videos, we can't overlook the mediocre skating in this gem.

Hypebeast is getting soft...

Hypebeast is now posting paid advertising in the column amongst the normal postings. If that isn't cheesy enough, the ads are for stripper outfits. Makes sense, right? Of course it does, because mad strippers check out hypebeast, and I know all those crazed sneaker junkies love halter tops. WTF?????

Foundation. The Industry Standard...

Project shows love for the Foundation.

Heyyy you guys!

So it recently occurred to me that I have some major catching up to do in the movie department.  After hanging around the foundation team, who are always citing movie lines and talking about classic flicks it dawned on me that I am cinematically challenged...

So, being the great people that they are...they've been slowly yet surely trying to help a sista out.  The first classic on my list was The Goonies (thanks yosh!) ..
final verdict - ADORABLE...my only regret was not seeing it sooner - like everyone else on the planet.

After breaking the ice and falling in love with  The Goonies, Antwain thought it was time for me to step away from the childhood classics and dive into something more serious... like Scarface. (yes, i've never seen it - please don't hold that against me.!)

This one is self explanatory...you already know.  If you've never see this movie, or if its been a while since you have... I tink dat jou need to wach it, mang.

Next two on my list ...

New Jack City and King of New York

If you have some time this holiday weekend and want to get out of the heat for a minute - pop in a classic and enjoy.!   (:
