Ya'll know Biz is 'bout his sneakers. The world famous Biz Markie came thru the showroom with Mike Packer of Packer Shoes yesterday to cool out and vibe on the new Pro Keds in the showroom.

He was geeked out to say the least. Biz is probably the most thorough Pro Keds fan ever. So much so that Showbiz (Show & AG / DITC) actually identified Biz by his footwear brand of choice. Check it out:

G Shock Event

Just wanted to share some pics from last nights G-Shock event at Cipriani's on Wall Street. Kanye West performed while wearing the Mosley Tribes Free City Collab!!!

I'm very sad to post this....but Union has officially closed it's doors. This store was one of the first streetwear boutiques before the term streetwear was even used. Back in the days when i was just a little peon intern with Complex Magazine.....I was psyched to visit Union. MaryAnn always showcased up and coming brands in the streetwear scene, and she made everything look so cool and exclusive in her tiny store on Spring Street.

I remember Union as one of the first accounts for my own brand Hellz, and others like PegLeg, Stussy, Neighborhood, Clarendon, aNYthing, WTaps, and even Ari worked with her back in his PRPS days. I remember spending $500 on a Perks and Mini jacket for my husband even though i was a broke intern. (the charcoal wool jacket, with leather sleeves) We are sad that streetwear is not the same anymore...and something that once was so exclusive and cool is now........uh.............well you know. : I

Foundation wishes MaryAnn and James continued success with their next endeavor. Thank you for working with us in the past years.

Tradeshow extravaganza for the fashion industry kicked off this week. Foundation represented at Project, Capsule, and Agenda. Unfortunately...i wasn't able to visit G-Shock Pammy at Project NYC...but Capsule was the sh*. I freakin' puerto rican love this show. They say "NO" to all the corny brands...and only showcase cool ones. That way...buyers don't waste their time and energy walking through all 10 aisles of Miley Cyrus Denim Collections. It's a win-win situation for all parties.
